Post Manila, the company I work for, along with its sister companies: Mothership Inc and Reality Entertainment were major sponsors for Summer Komikon 2012. We launched a comic yesterday based on our upcoming movie: Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles. The comic was illustrated by Digital Art Chefs. Banner layouts by Nicole and shirt design by me.
We also showed a teaser of the movie. The team I’m in handles the visual identity, graphic and motion design of the film. The art direction is very ambitious which is what I can safely say.
Some sketch trades with Hannah, Dado and Maya from yesterday’s Summer Komikon. I drew Hannah’s character Penny. She and her friends drew on my sketchbook. It was fun meeting them again :D
Whimsical Vomit sketchbook Oct2011-May2012
My sketchbook for exploring whimsical background elements and at some point, for vehicles. A lot of the sketches here haven’t been posted on this blog.
Is the speed too fast? I figure no one wants to spend more than 5 minutes looking at this. If anyone does, just tell me.
I made the mistake of oil painting on my sketchbook as if I knew everything about oil paint.
It probably won’t get the post-painting treatment of varnish or sealants or whatever. This photo will be the only reminder of a satisfactory result after the hard copy crumbles into chalk between the pages.
